That means maintaining steady and planned growth to ensure we have the time to take care of each property we manage. This philosophy also allows us to focus on every last detail to ensure we are able to successfully achieve and implement our client’s objectives. Robert (Bob) Paquette, President and Broker of the Company brings several decades of experience to his role with Braden Equities Inc. His many experiences of working through downturns in our economy through the years has allowed Bob to guide our many clients to long term success with their real estate holdings.
Braden Paquette, B.Mgmt, Vice President and Associate began working with the Company in 2005 and has now acquired shares in the Company, which in a few years will eventually lead to his assuming the role of Broker. His hands on experience in managing properties for many years, has provided him the educated background to provide quality leadership to our management team.
Robert (Bob) Paquette, President
Bob spent his summers during High School working with his Father, who owned a small residential repair company. It was never easy, as Bob was required to do odd jobs to pay his way right up until University.
With a high scholastic average, Bob was accepted into Business Commerce at Dalhousie University. He then continued his education upon returning to Edmonton and ultimately decided to pursue a career in real estate sales.
While selling real estate, Bob recognized that wealth was in the hands of those that owned and held properties over the long term. It was during this period that the real estate market took a serious downturn, resulting in him leaving the real estate sales field, and taking a salaried position with the Royal Trust Company managing their property management department.
The Royal Trust Company’s portfolio consisted of estate properties, as well as fee management properties. Managing estate properties for 7 years taught Bob the importance of always maintaining your real estate to ensure the property achieves its full potential.
In the late 70’s, Bob left the Royal Trust Company to partner with an architect, engineer and building contractor to develop residential apartment buildings throughout Northern Alberta and Yellowknife. Bob’s function was to assist in the tendering and construction supervision of the various projects, and manage the properties once completed.
With the downturn in the real estate development industry in 1981, Bob established his own property management company, and used his experiences to build a very successful business in commercial, multi-family residential and condominium property management. No matter what the economy, properties require quality care and management.
Bob’s passion of guiding others on how to maintain and improve their properties has helped many owners increase their cash flow, grow their real estate portfolios, and secure a substantial retirement income.
Today Bob continues to pursue his passion of helping others gain wealth through real estate.
Braden Paquette, B.Mgmt, Vice President, Associate
Braden became involved in the family real estate management business at a very young age. One of his main goals growing up was to be working in real estate by the time he graduated High School. To achieve this goal, he started working in the construction industry during High School to obtain hands on experience in maintaining real estate.
In 2005, Braden acquired his first investment property believing in the concept that you cannot manage property for others if you cannot manage your own. He then enrolled in University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Management degree. During the four years of University, Braden managed a small portfolio of properties full time, which often involved working weekends. Braden achieved total client satisfaction with his management, and these same Clients are with him to this day. Over the next several years he assumed larger management portfolios that consisted of multi-family, rental pool, commercial and condominium properties.
Today Braden oversees all of the Company’s Property Managers, and is acting Vice President of Braden Equities Inc., Braden’s experience, skill and passion to help each client to succeed have established him as a great leader for all of his property managers and clients.
Braden’s vision to improve all areas of the company have resulted in the implementation of new branding, fully modernized communications, and a new website.
